CARD Workshops
The Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Inc. (CARD) offers a variety of customized, hands-on classes and seminars that provide ongoing development for families, caregivers, professional educators, clinicians, and students with the opportunity to benefit from over 150 years of combined experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
CARD Classes are held at a variety of CARD office locations, online, as well as community centers around the country.

Effective Strategies to Administer Oral Medication
A LIVE, ONLINE workshop for parents of children with and without developmental disabilities.
This workshop is designed to teach parents how to teach their children to swallow oral medication. This session is not designed for children to participate but rather for parents to learn and then administer on their children at another time.
Dr. Olive will review the current research on oral medication. She will review outcomes for children who have received services from CARD. Finally, she will review the steps for parents to attempt at home. Please remember, parents should not attempt to teach their children to swallow oral medication withoutapproval and clearance from a physician. |
