As of November 2012, the New York Autism Insurance Mandate (A 8512) required that most health plans cover treatment for children with autism and related disorders. CARD, in partnership with Autism Up, will host a workshop to educate parents on the law, explain why coverage was disrupted and the most effective ways to access coverage.
