We are pleased to announce our 46th Annual Convention in the U.S. capital, Washington, DC! The city defined by its monuments and museums offers just steps from our venues 13 free museums on the National Mall, such as the National Gallery of Art, U.S. Botanic Gardens, and National Museum of Natural History.
The greater part of the event will be held in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, including registration, bookstore, posters, and exhibits. Pre-Convention workshops and breakout sessions will be in the Marriott Marquis Washington DC Hotel, which connects underground to the convention center. Across the street from the hotel is CityCenterDC. This 10 acre high-end shopping and dining complex is home to more than 20 restaurants within a 1-mile radius. A few miles from the convention center is ARTECHOUSE, an art gallery ranked among the top 20 new attractions in the country. Finally, be sure to check out Georgetown, Washington DC’s historic waterfront community.
Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is the biggest and busiest in the area, located about 30 minutes west of DC in Virginia. This airport offers over 125 nonstop travel destinations, more than any other in the region. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the closest to the city center, offering non-stop flights to more than 85 destinations on 10 airlines.
